WHO we ARE
Tipping Point Cycling Academy is a premier training and development program for young, aspiring cyclists in South Africa. Founded by David Low in 2013, the academy has grown into a nurturing environment for talented riders looking to elevate their performance and pursue professional careers in cycling.
David Low, a UCI Level 1 & 2 certified coach, has over 25 years of experience in Mountain Biking and has represented South Africa at the XCO World Championships in Lugano, Switzerland and the World Marathon Champs in Pietermaritzburg. With a passion for the sport and athlete development, David has dedicated himself to coaching and mentoring young cyclists, helping them achieve national and international success.
The academy is managed by David and Amanda Low, a dynamic husband-and-wife team. While David focuses on coaching and mentorship, Amanda handles sponsorships , administration, and marketing communications to ensure the academy’s continued success.
